Mimosa calodendron adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tenggara. Nama ilmiah Mimosa calodendron pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1841.
