Mimosa hexandra adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko barat daya, kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Mimosa hexandra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Marc Micheli pada tahun 1889.
