Mimosa longepedunculata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Goiás). Nama ilmiah Mimosa longepedunculata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Paul Hermann Wilhelm Taubert pada tahun 1896.
