Mimosa macrocalyx adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Mimosa macrocalyx diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Marc Micheli pada tahun 1883.
