Mimosa nothacacia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ekuador hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Mimosa nothacacia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rupert Charles Barneby pada tahun 1991.
