Mimosa pudica var. hispida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan bebentuk perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang siklus hidupnya hanya semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika tengah hingga Brazil, Karibia. Nama ilmiah Mimosa pudica var. hispida diperkenalkan oleh John Patrick Micklethwait Brenan pada tahun 1955.
