Mimosapudica var. tetrandra (Humb. & Bonpl. ex Willd.) DC.
Mimosa pudica var. tetrandra merupakan tumbuhan bebentuk perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang siklus hidupnya hanya semusim. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kuba, Kolombia hingga Trinidad dan Amerika Selatan bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Mimosa pudica var. tetrandra diperkenalkan oleh Alexander von Humboldt pada tahun 1825.
