Mimosa setifera adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Mimosa setifera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Knud Friedrich Pilger pada tahun 1901.
