Mimosa tweedieana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur laut, Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Mimosa tweedieana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rupert Charles Barneby pada tahun 1997.
