Monotes africanus A.DC.

Monotes africanus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Monotes africanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1868.
