Monotes hypoleucus var. discolor merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari RD Kongo bagian selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Monotes hypoleucus var. discolor pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Elias Fries pada tahun 2017.
