Muehlenbeckia ephedroides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Muehlenbeckia ephedroides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1853.
