Myosotis sylvatica merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Madeira, Temp. Eurasia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woodland forget-me-not. Nama ilmiah Myosotis sylvatica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jakob Friedrich Ehrhart pada tahun 1791.
