Noltea africana merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Noltea africana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Stephan Friedrich Ladislaus Endlicher pada tahun 1842.
