Ocotea amplissima adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Ocotea amplissima pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1906.
