Ocotea faucherei merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Madagaskar timur-tengah. Nama ilmiah Ocotea faucherei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Auguste Danguy pada tahun 1839.
