Ocotea laevigata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Mauritius. Nama ilmiah Ocotea laevigata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Daniel Friedrich Meissner pada tahun 1979.
