Ocotea polyantha merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Ocotea polyantha pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1889.
