Ocotea tenera adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Ocotea tenera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1903.
