Oenothera mexicana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Texas tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mexican evening primrose. Nama ilmiah Oenothera mexicana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Édouard Spach pada tahun 1835.
