Olearia monticola merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari kawasan Pegunungan Papua. Nama ilmiah Olearia monticola diperkenalkan oleh Frederick Manson Bailey pada tahun 1895.
