Ornithogalum thunbergii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asparagaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Ornithogalum thunbergii diperkenalkan oleh Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1843.
