Orthion oblanceolatum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas), hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Orthion oblanceolatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Cyrus Longworth Lundell pada tahun 1941.
