Oxybasis halophila merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Chili (Los Lagos). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan saltloving goosefoot. Nama ilmiah Oxybasis halophila pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 2022.
