Oxytropis besseyi var. salmonensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Idaho. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan salmon river locoweed. Nama ilmiah Oxytropis besseyi var. salmonensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rupert Charles Barneby pada tahun 1952.
