BESSEY'S LOCOWEED Oxytropisbesseyi var. ventosa (Greene) Barneby
Oxytropis besseyi var. ventosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Montana hingga Utah timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bessey's locoweed. Nama ilmiah Oxytropis besseyi var. ventosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1951.
