Parashorea stellata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dipterocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Indo-China hingga Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Parashorea stellata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz pada tahun 1870.
