Parthenium fruticosum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Parthenium fruticosum diperkenalkan oleh Christian Friedrich Lessing pada tahun 1830.
