Parthenium schottii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Yucatán). Nama ilmiah Parthenium schottii diperkenalkan oleh Jesse More Greenman pada tahun 1904.
