Paspalum cromyorhizon adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Paspalum cromyorhizon diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 1877.
