Pectis capillipes adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Pectis capillipes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1881.
