Pectis filipes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fivebract chinchweed. Nama ilmiah Pectis filipes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Henry Harvey pada tahun 1849.
