Pectis multiceps merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Pectis multiceps pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ignatz Urban pada tahun 1907.
