Pectis papposa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Amerika Serikat barat daya hingga New Mexico dan Meksiko. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan manybristle chinchweed. Nama ilmiah Pectis papposa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Henry Harvey pada tahun 1849.
