Pectis pygmaea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kolombia (Bolívar, Tolima), hingga Venezuela. Nama ilmiah Pectis pygmaea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1818.
