Peperomia andrei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Peperomia andrei diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Anne Casimir Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1890.
