Peperomia claudii merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Peru. Nama ilmiah Peperomia claudii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Anne Casimir Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1898.
