Peperomia incana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Peperomia incana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adrian Hardy Haworth pada tahun 1823.
