Peperomia ophistachyera merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Peperomia ophistachyera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Gilli pada tahun 1981.
