Peperomia rockii merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Molokai timur). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan kahuaha forest peperomia. Nama ilmiah Peperomia rockii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anne Casimir Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1913.
