Pfaffia rotundifolia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Pfaffia rotundifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Troels Myndel Pedersen pada tahun 1997.
