Pfaffia tuberculosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Bahia). Nama ilmiah Pfaffia tuberculosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Troels Myndel Pedersen pada tahun 1997.
