Phacelia thermalis merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan heated phacelia. Nama ilmiah Phacelia thermalis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1895.
