Phylica aemula adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat. Nama ilmiah Phylica aemula pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1899.
