Phylica callosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Phylica callosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1782.
