Phyllostachys angusta merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China tenggara. Nama ilmiah Phyllostachys angusta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Floyd Alonzo McClure pada tahun 1945.
