Phyllostachys glauca merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Phyllostachys glauca pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Floyd Alonzo McClure pada tahun 1956.
