Phyllostachys rubromarginata merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Guangxi, Guizhou). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan reddish bamboo. Nama ilmiah Phyllostachys rubromarginata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Floyd Alonzo McClure pada tahun 1940.
