DEERING'S TREE CACTU Pilosocereuspolygonus (Lam.) Byles & G.D.Rowley
Pilosocereus polygonus merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk pohon dari famili Cactaceae (suku kaktus-kaktusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Hispaniola tengah dan barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan deering's tree cactus. Nama ilmiah Pilosocereus polygonus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1957.
