Piper adamatum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Piper adamatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Trelease pada tahun 1952.
